How to join Liss Archaeology (or renew membership)

Membership application

ADULT MEMBERSHIP

£20 a year

Our membership year runs from 1 April annually and costs just £20 which is amazing value.

Brand new members applying after 30th September 2025 will receive membership until 31st March 2026.

Please note that for insurance reasons members have to be aged 18 or over.

Code of Conduct

  •  All members are expected to conform to and promote the general standards for conduct of archaeology set out in the Code of Conduct document published by the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists.

  •  At the Committee’s discretion, your membership may be revoked at any time, without reimbursement, and for any reason if, in the reasonable judgment of the Committee, you have acted in a manner contrary to the best interests or safety of other members.

  •  Liss Archaeology reserves the right to require a member to leave a site or location if it believes such member poses a health or safety risk or is upsetting other members or the landowner.

  •  Bullying, in any form, will result in revocation of membership,

  •  Membership may be revoked if a member is found to have brought the organisation into disrepute or discloses confidential information in any way including via social media.

  •  Membership of Liss Archaeology is conditional upon approval by the Committee and membership applications may be refused.
